Burnley FC Innovation Hub · Year two

The data is already here. It just isn’t connected.

Ticketing runs through Ticketmaster. Catering, hospitality and conferencing run with Levy. The online store is the club’s own, and Turf Moor has building management and real-time energy monitoring. Each does its job well, in its own system, and people carry what one knows over to the next.

That is the tangle at the top of this page. Lyzr’s agents work across those systems: they read them together, act on what they find, and leave the decisions that matter with a person.

“We’re always striving to operate more sustainably and efficiently, whilst finding new ways to engage with supporters and the wider public.”

Sustainable Club Operations

Energy and utilities, stadium and facility operations, waste and environmental solutions, and operational efficiency and cost reduction.

What Burnley can pilot with Lyzr

The Club Workbench

One screen for the whole club, matchday or not.

This is the workbench from our stadium demo, rebuilt around the Hub’s two themes. Partners, media, fan comms and retail on one side; energy, facilities, waste and spend on the other. One assistant answers across all of them, and anything an agent proposes waits for a person to say yes.

  1. 1

    Always knows what today is

The top bar shows the countdown to kickoff, energy against plan, the weather and how many people are in the ground, all live. On a quiet Tuesday it shows a quiet Tuesday.

  2. 2

    One day at a time

Pick the day: a home match, a conference in the lounges, or an ordinary weekday. Every screen and every agent focuses on it.

  3. 3

    Ask in plain English

Ask about partners, content, the shop or the meters. The Club Manager answers from live data and shows which specialist agents it brought in.

  4. 4

What needs a person, right now

Partner reports, content, fan messages and energy fixes land in one queue. Agents prepare the work, and a person approves it.

  5. 5

    A desk for each theme

Club growth: partners, media, fan comms and retail. Sustainable operations: energy, facilities, waste and spend. Same agents, same data underneath.

  6. 6

    Every action on the record

Agents, governance and an audit log: see what each agent did, why it did it, and who signed it off.

Agents propose. People decide.

Theme one · AI for Club Growth

Turn every home match into a week of revenue.

Problem
Broadcasting brought in about three-quarters of the club’s revenue last season, so growth has to come from everything else: partners, hospitality, the shop, the content and the supporters. A small team runs all of it across separate systems, and much of the week goes on moving information between them.
With Lyzr
Agents work the week alongside that team. They cut and caption the match content, write to each group of supporters in terms that suit them, keep the shop stocked and every partner’s deliverables on track, and put the numbers in front of the people deciding. Anything that reaches a supporter or a partner waits for a person to approve it.

  2. HospitalityTue 14:20

Lounges for the next home match 60% sold

Offered packages to past buyers and partner guests most likely to book, at the time they usually open email.

    Approved by hospitality lead
  3. PartnershipsMon 10:00

Two partner deliverables behind for the quarter

Found the gaps in LED minutes and social posts, drafted a make-good plan and the proof-of-performance report.

    Ready for review
  4. RetailSun 09:10

Two best-sellers about to sell out online

Moved stock from the Clarets Store to online orders and put a reorder to the buyer for sign-off.

    Reorder approved by retail

Full time: 38 moments tagged from the match

Cut the highlights, wrote captions for each channel and subtitles for fans abroad. Queued for the media team.

Theme two · Sustainable Club Operations

Waste less on the days nobody is watching.

Problem
Turf Moor already does the hard parts: renewable electricity, LED floodlights, real-time energy monitoring and very little waste to landfill. But monitoring only reports. Someone still has to notice a stand heated overnight, a meter running at 4am or a bin collection booked twice, and the reporting asked of clubs keeps growing, fan travel included.
With Lyzr
Agents read the meters against the fixture and events calendar, then act: set back empty stands, flag leaks, move pitch lighting into cheaper hours, size the matchday order to the weather, and pull it all into the sustainability report. Routine fixes happen on their own; anything that costs money or touches the pitch waits for the right person.

  3. Catering & WasteFri 15:00

Rain forecast for Saturday’s 3pm kickoff

Wet matchdays sell more hot food and fewer cold drinks. Adjusted kiosk orders with the catering team so less ends up in the bin.

Open Cowork, built for a leading firm in financial services

An end-to-end alternative to Claude Cowork and ChatGPT, built for your team.

Problem
General-purpose assistants know nothing about a firm's domain, its controls, or the tools each team lives in. Every department ends up pasting context in and copying results out.
With Lyzr
Open Cowork gives every function its own harness, tailored to its work. Commercial, media, retail, facilities and finance each run their day-to-day in a workspace connected to the tools they already use, so the right data is in hand from the first prompt.

ABM Asset Generator

Pitch every prospective partner with assets made for them.

Problem
Every partnership pitch needs its own deck, one-pager and activation mock-ups, tailored to the brand across Turf Moor, the men’s and women’s teams, and supporters at home and abroad. Producing them by hand does not scale, and letting AI generate them freely risks off-template, hallucinated content going out under the club’s name.
With Lyzr
Start from the approved templates you already have. The generator personalises each asset for its target brand while staying inside the template, so the partnerships team reaches more prospects, more professionally, without building every piece from scratch.

The pilot

Six months, on the Hub’s calendar

Built to run inside club operations from December to May, with a named owner at the club for every agent and a baseline taken before anything goes live.

  1. December 2026

    Connect

Read-only links to the systems the club already runs: ticketing, the online store, catering sales, building management and the meters. A baseline is taken for every measure below.

  2. January – February 2027

    First agents live

Partner reporting, match content and the energy watch go live, each with a named owner at the club who approves what it does.

  3. March – May 2027

    Widen and measure

Fan comms, retail stock, waste and the emissions dataset join. Every action is logged against the December baseline.

  4. June 2027

    Review

The numbers come straight from the audit log for the Hub’s review: what worked, what didn’t, and what to keep.

What we measure · AI for Club Growth

  • Hours given back to the commercial, media and retail teams
  • Partner deliverables met on time, with proof
  • Revenue from agent-prepared offers and campaigns
  • Content published per match, and how far it travels

What we measure · Sustainable Club Operations

  • kWh used on non-matchdays, against the baseline
  • Leaks and faults found, and the time to fix them
  • Food and general waste per matchday
  • Emissions data ready for reporting, supporter travel included

Targets for each measure are agreed with the club before December.
